Dismantling - Felling a whole tree piece by piece. This can be done to avoid any impact directly below. A typical example of this is to avoid a glass greenhouse we would use rigging ropes to safely lower pieces of the tree to the ground slowly and out the way of obstacles. We can also fell a tree so that there is no damage done to the lawn in your garden using similar methods.

Deadwooding - Removing dead or dangerous branches that are overhanging paths and tracks or a valued item. This dead wood makes great firewood for your stove!

Pruning - We can remove any branch you desire. Some reasons may be for aesthetics, to extend the life or to let more light in to a garden.

Erecting barn owl box

Recently I have volunteered my time with The Wildlife Trust of South West Wales and have put up nesting boxes for the in decline barn owl Tyto alba. The nesting box has to be placed in a very specific location to encourage the owls to nest there. Ideally it has to be around 10m from the ground, facing north east away from the prevailing wind and have a clean unobstructed flight path into the box opening.
